Program Overview:

The Rise Above Foundation Cebu (RAFC) Health and Hygiene Program, specifically the Dental Mission, is dedicated to providing essential dental care to underprivileged individuals and communities in the province of Cebu. Since its inception in July 2002, the Dental Mission has been a cornerstone of our efforts, bringing together volunteers from around the world to provide free dental treatment to those in need.

Goals:

Alleviate Dental Issues: Our primary goal is to address dental health issues among underserved populations, particularly school children and individuals in remote areas, by providing access to free dental treatment.
Promote Health and Hygiene: By offering dental care services, we aim to improve overall health and hygiene practices within our community, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.
Build Partnerships: Through collaboration with sponsors and volunteers, we seek to expand the reach and impact of our Dental Mission, ensuring that more individuals receive the care they desperately need.

Financial Commitment:

Each Dental Mission for two weeks requires $15,000 for expenses on medication, transportation, food, and other logistical expenses. We highly acknowledge pledges for accommodation, food, and over-the-counter medication for pain relief that will support a successful dental mission.

Flexibility and Consideration:

We recognize that circumstances can change, leading to adjustments in sponsorship commitments. If circumstances necessitate discontinuation, we kindly request a notice period of 6-12 months, allowing us ample time to secure an alternative sponsor for the dental mission.
